a lot of hidden horsepower in f-bodies can be found in replacing the headers. you can probably get about 30hp by installing a nice set of headers.

30 hp from installing headers? Don't think so. That would even be a high estimate on a V8.

Maybe 10 hp and that is probably high as well.

p.s. you can't replace something you don't already have, so you wouldn't be replacing headers, you would be installing them.

opening up the exhaust on a v6 and v8 are totally different. the lt1s and ls1-2s will obviously get better power gains from it.
