  • Where can I find a dynomax 3in i pipe?

Ok well the hour glass is running out and im still stumbling for parts to complete my exhaust before inspection. I need a 3in dynomax i pipe. Advanced Auto can't get it for me. Summit Racing is on backorder, and theres a few other low name companies that have them on back order. I can't find no other place that sells them and I have to get my car inspected tuesday. I'd even take a z28 i pipe right now but I don't want a used one, I want a new one. Does anybody know where I can find a company that has them in stock? Any one?

Summit's the only place I know for the Dynomax pipe. If you're willing to spend the money on a NEW Z28 I-pipe, then why not look into having a shop fabricate something for you?

Try NAPA, they sell Dynomax and that is where I got my stuff, plus it helps that my dad works there ;)

I'm surprised advance auto parts couldn't order it for you. That's where I got mine.

The first day I had the guy check it out for me and he didn't say he couldn't order them, i just came back later and this stupid kid didn't know what he was doing. He kept looking up mufflers, and im like no it's not a muffler check out exhaust pipes, after about 10min he finally caught on. I was about to pay for it when I asked him how long it'd take to get in then he said he couldn't order it. I'm like o...k... I'll try another one or NAPA tomorrow.

whats wrong with used???? and whats the difference between a dynomax 3" and a ninomax 3" I pipe. brand name I pipes are way over priced when you can get a mexican to fabricate an exhaust for a way cheaper.
6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.

When I tried to get the exhaust shops to weld up my other catback from an 02 camaro they said it was a bunch of BS and was too old to weld. I don't feel like going through the hassle again. I'd rather have a mandrel bent I pipe too.

I got mine from Advanced Auto for about $30 less than Summit. Did you give them the right part numbers? The PNs are 53061 and 54064. Advance should have them if you give them those numbers.

^Like Jonny said. I also told them it was for a 2000 TransAm, not a V6. Hope that helps.

I checked all the advanced autos in New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. All of them said they had none in their warehouses and had them on back order. As did summit and other companies i've checked. Im gonna just go with a flowmaster catback now that I found out my muffler is pretty messed up.
