Anyone port and pollish their intake? im wondering what kind of gains i could look forward to. And how much will i have to spend to have it done? just a rough estimate

generally a port job wouldnt net any real gains unless the intake ports on the head and LIM were ported as well. Just due to the fact that if you port one and leave the other then it creates turbulence which isnt good for air pulses into the cylinder. But is good for mixing the A/F into the cylinder.

you said "intake", so i guess you mean the Whole system.

i assume you have a 3.8ltr, and our intakes are pretty decent.

i think if you port your throttle body you'd want it to be like a "Venturi" system/design (so it creates higher velocity air & a vacuum effect(low pressure)).
well, there aint really much to port off (TB)

yeah i meant the whole intake Upper and lower intake. Also for the heads wouldnt i have to get bigger valves after porting? i was thinking about doing the heads as well....i am just a little bit nervous due to how much alot of the parts cost.
