  • Advice on headers

I have done a search and it seems like there are mixed feelings on which brand of headers to buy. I've just started looking into these, and I'm not sure what types of headers there are and which are the best. I already have a full exhaust system except for headers. Should I have installed the headers before the exhaust system or does it matter? I'm sure they will add about 5-10 rwhp, but will it make any difference in sound? I appreciate any help.

It does not matter, it should help the sound, and 5-10rwhp is not a bad estimate if they're somewhat tuned.

You can install them now, and really your only two good choices are the CIA and pacesetter headers. I would personally invest in shocks before I'd bother with headers though, I don't think they're worth doing until you plan on changing the cam or installing some kind of FI.
