I like Sea Foam. Have used it on several cars and it works. See Sea Foam on how to use the product.

I have found it to work well to remove carbon from the intake plenum (put there by the EGR valve) and intake valves and combustion chambers. It works okay to clean injectors, but nothing works as well as pulling the injectors and rebuilding them.

What I usually do is to use Sea Foam through the engine and after that I use Lucas Injector Cleaner in the gas tank for a couple of tanks. Other folks seem to like Chevron's Techron and it is good. I have just found that Lucas Oil products work well. Like everything else, there is disagreement on this.

          seafoam works great...

But for the TB, I reccomend jsut taking it off, its not that hard to do, if you already have a TB bypass.

Take it off and lcean it I cleaned my upper intake and it did ok, then I had to take aprt the upper intake to fix some loose rockers, and stuff was only semi clean, especially tyhe TB, I used a few cans of whater ever harsh chemicals for cleaning engine parts, and made everything shine especially the TB. Worked alot.

I have used Sea Foam on many cars and it works by far better than other add in cleaners. But then I only run techron in mine so it just stays cleaner. Stay with sea foam, other cleaners are usually concentrates that eat out precious rubber in your TB and Injectors.
