    Mine doesn't rice. The note just flattens out, which is what I don't like. My 40 Series sounded fine with just the muffler and the SLP CAI on. Headers and high flow cat actually made it flatten out at lower rpms.

      my dads headers are like that and my uncles 1st and 2nd set were all hacked up, my uncle finally took them back the 3rd time and got his money back

        ya, you got headers, and a High flow cat....I dont!! :mad: :mad: just replaced the muffler itself...I dunno I think Ill just get te cutout,,

          No, I meant that the muffler and CAI by themselves had sounded better. (At least right after I put the headers and high flow cat on they did. Now it's kind of broken in and it just sounds normal - pretty much the same as before I had put them on.)

          I don't like the "flattened out" sound of the exhaust that you hit as you get into higher rpms. The headers and highflow cat made the note "flatten out" at lower rpms on my car.
