Glasspack Question

My buddy has a 93 Camaro RS and he wants the meanest and most aggressive sounding exhaust around. I have an SLP Loudmouth on my 5.7L LS1 and it's mean as hell. He doesn't want to spend the money on the SLP Loudmouth though so I was thinking of eliminating the cat putting in 3in pipe all the way back and bringing it out to duals. Now I know without having a cat or a muffler he's probably gonna get alot of pops and things of this sort so I was thinking maybe using a glasspack might make this better. I have heard that after the fiberglass wears in it's loud as all hell. This is all good in my book, I just want to keep the poping down! I don't know a whole lot about the tone of a glasspack muffler or how this setup might sound but an input would be great. The end result of what this is gona be like is pretty much the SLP Loudmouth exhaust except instead of a resanator it will be a glasspack.

I fired up the bird when doing the cat back and I only had the bullet muffler on...no over the tail pipe section and no oval muffler. (new 3x3 cat was on, though) It did sound bad ***. It did not sound like an un muffled V8...but it still sounded horrible...or bad *** depending on your tastes.

If he wants to be noticed...a bullet glass pack is the way to go. Not necessarily street legal, though.

isnt the loudmouth one of the cheapest exhaust systems out? lol thats one cheap dude...for that just lend him a sawall and cut right before his cat it'll definitly be "mean" sounding lol
