Won't fit only because of the position of the outlet?
I can deal with that. I have that '98 angled tb, so nothing lines up nicely with it anyway. (except now that I've cut the front off the tb, it lines up a little better...)
The base and mounting pins are the same though, right...?
Texas speed and performance is in Lubbock, Texas, ive met the guys before they're pretty nice...they do a lot of work on LS1's and i know they've done some work on OneQuickV6's car...

All Joseph did for Matt is put in a new clutch. You make it sound like his car is fast or something, ha ha.
As for the lid though, I can't remember where I read it but Trevor made a post about the new lids. Probably LS1Tech.com or LS1.com, there was a significant gain over the top performing lid for the LS1, enough to make many LS1 owners replace there aftermarket ones. There were dyno numbers in the post to prove this.

Yeah, that multiple-page posting was what turned me on to this lid. I intentionally left out mentioning the post or the forum to see if anybody knew what I was talking about... (or what they were talking about)
I have a black one on order. Almost got the smoked clear... :D
I reworked all my intake tubing anyway, and cut my throttle body down so it looks a lot like an LS1 tb now too. (long story)
Pics of the intake and tb in My Car link in the sig, for anyone interested.
