Ok i have an all stock 1997 camaro and have a few questions:

1.What is the American thunder part #for my car i also hear that theres only a resonator on the 1998 and up is this true?

2.If it did come with one has anybody put an extra resonator on it as well?

    3. If i were to put a cut out on my car where whould it go before or after the cat?

4.Which is the best high-flow cat?

5.What is that sensor that will need to be change and where is it located and what do i replace it with?

Sorry about all the questions im gonna try and search for some but alot of different things come up so hopefully i can get some feedback.

    thanks andrew

    1. http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...07&prmenbr=361 Scroll to the second to the last one. I'm not sure why they would only say it fits 98-02, didn't know they changed anything. Here's pictures of the underside of my car: http://www.geocities.com/ttop34/UnderCar.html Compare and see if yours is the same, notice however, mine's not stock but everything is in the stock location.

    2. The V6 catback does come with a resonator from what I've heard. I found some tips which had resonators in them which I really liked at Midas but mine haven't rusted bad enough to replace them yet. I think that would help my exhaust a lot though even though I like how loud it is every once in a while, setting off car alarms in the parking garage and stuff.

3.I think a electric cut out before the cat would be perfect for racing at the track or a deserted street but good luck finding a shop to install it for you. The most sensible place that I've seen is the bend right before the muffler in the back, easy to get to.

4.The cheapest. If I were to do it over again and keep my cat, I would have just chopped off the end with a saw and had that welded up to open it up to 3" but I'm cheap like that.

    5. All depends on what your replacing. I believe you have a pre and post cat o2 sensor so if you replace the pipe that goes right there then your going to have to get that reinstalled. The exhaust shop can get a small bung to weld in there so that your o2 sensor will thread in. Mine was put in the first bend of the S pipe right after the cat. You might want to look under your car though to make sure it's the same.

Take a look around at my site if you like, send me an email if you have questions, maybe I'll be able to answer them.
