I was about to make a trip up to Thunder Racing to buy a few things, but I noticed on their site that in the V6 section they have the Random Technologies cat listed for $190, and it's described as " 2.5" ID inlet, 2.5" OD outlet ", and that's the only one that's listed. Anyway, on the V8 page, they list multiple sizes, including 3" in/out (which is what I want), and the prices are cheaper for some reason. My question is, is there any difference, and if so, why would they put them on different pages under different prices? Will the 3" cat on the LS1 page be compatible with my 3.8? Forgive me if this has been addressed before, but I wouldn't know where to start nor what to type in the "search" box. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, looks like that's what I'll be going with. But let's say I don't have a credit card, where else can I get a Catco from (part # would be ideal)?

Dude you can get any cat you want and put it on your car, as long as it's the single in single out design. Random Technologies (depending on the part number) are supposed to be your very top of the line cat, if you have the cash. I personally prefer the CarSound 94009 or 93009 cats. The heat sheilds aren't tack welded on like the catcos, and they flow 64cfms more (i'm not bashing catcos). If you do however want to get a catco, why get the 6007? I don't think we have any use for the airtube there, pickup the 6907. But if I were you i'd goto exhaustprosinc.com and pick up a carsound for about 20more bucks.

I appreciate the tip, but "exhaustprosinc.com" doesn't register on my browser, so maybe you spelled it wrong or something. I'd like the site address though, as long as they don't 'require' credit cards to order.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found the site by searching.
