I went to the junk yard today, and got an airbox. I brought it home and cut off a bunch of the plastic in order to make room for more air. I can here it suck so much more air it is amazing what can happen with a ten dollar mod. [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]

I've done the same thing. Except I did it to my own box. I just cut the bottom out and the bottom of the airbox air router (I cut out a round part that actually sits down on the frame) I did the Free Ram air mod for practically $.70 and 40 minutes worth of work. I kept most of the box so that the air did have some kinda direction up the ram air duct and through the filter. Mine sucks crazy and I can get it to whine at me when I'm in high gear!!!! Throttle response has improved quite a bit.
