  • Making my own o2 sim

Hey everybody. I recently gutted my cat, and now i need an o2 sim.. I was thinking of making one myself. Does anybody know the voltages that the o2 sim's send to the pcm to tell it that it has a healthy cat? Or the voltages that a reg o2 sensor sends to the pcm to say it has a healthy cat.
If i find out this information, an o2 sim can be made from a few resistors and diodes.
    Thanks,
    Ron

A constant voltage reading might also be interpeted as a non-functioning O2

normal 02s range from .1-.9 volts but the post cat sensor reads around .5 going up and down a little, thats normal.

Not only might be, but will be interpreted as a non-functioning sensor. The sensor has to switch between rich and lean a certain number of times per second.
