I just noticed i have a leak in my engine. Losing oil and coolant (looks like its comming from the intake manifold). So anyway I'm gonna take it to the dealer to get it looked at. Ques: will my whisper lid and SLP CAI void the warrenty? Should i take the lid off when i go there to be on the safe side?

Whisper Lid void warrenty?

the only way a modification voids the warranty is if they can link it to the problem, like, if you were spraying a decent sized dry shot and leaned out too much and had lean-burn on one of the pistons, it would void the warranty repair for that paticular problem, but your intake and oil leak should be nothing to fret about

Can it legally void the warranty --> NO
If the dealer is fair and has any brains will they blame it --> NO
If the dealer wants to be a pain, will they --> YES
It's always on the safer side to take off mods that are easy like that just so the dealer won't give you a hard time. They shouldn't, but I've heard of people having trouble with mods that could in no way cause their problems before. It's not worth the aggrevation and fighting if it only takes you a minute to swap back.

It definitely depends ont he dealer. I have a 2001 convertible. THey already spent $1100 to replace the hydraulic lift for the top in the first 10,000 and both seat belts ($150). The drivers side because the dealer was an idiot and the passenger side because the $2 piece of plastic broke. The $1100 lift was due to a faulty $1 rubber gasket. (what happened to the challenger?) Anyways, the dealer is in the process of replacing my TCS switch ($25), which I broke when I painted my interior, and they didn't ask any questions. They also are replacing one of my air vents ($16.50) that I broke when some retard on here said just pull it to get it out.Zaino; FireBatCave Decals; Red Inside<br /><br />K&N Filter & Lid; Removed MAF screen; FRA; Raised Air Box; 180°F Stat; BMR STB; 3\" Catco & S-pipe; Borla Cat-Back; O2 Sim; HPPIII; NGK TR55s; Taylor 8mm wires<br /><br /> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/cbass300\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/id/cbass300</a>
