quote:
SlimJim1284 Is it easy to change the 2.5"inlet to a 3"inlet?
Is it worth trying to enlarge the opening or should i just buy the 3"??

I was wondering the same thing! Yes the Stock Cat on the 3.8 is 3"In/2.25"out. I now have a 2.5"In/Out Magnaflow Cat on my car, but I now want to go 3"!

I'm pretty sure that the stock cat is 3" in and 2 1/4" out, atleast mine was. All of the pipe after the cat is 2 1/4" inside diameter, about 2 1/2" outside diameter with about 1/8" thick pipe.1997 Nassau Blue Vette
1989 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 (lifted with 31\" tires)
2000 V6 Camaro, loud, cammed 210rwhp *SOLD*
