7/16" = 11.2mm

So I'm sure it would work...but 7/16" fits snug on my bolts.

Well me and my friend hit a snag and are stumped on what to do next. We successfully removed the passenger side manifold but cant get the o2 sim out of the old manifold!! Next on the drivers side there is one remaining heat shield...or maybe there is only one heat shield to begin with, but anyway the two bolts on the top and side are stripped i guess when they put on the heat shields so we cant get that off to take off the manifold. Any ideas on how to get those bolts off?? i really dont feel like taking this to a shop to be finished, but we are stumped.

Any bolt lube will free that thing right up....and just use some adjustable channel locks to get the old heat shield nuts off.

pacesetters are now installed and sound like a biatch...man those things are loud...even though im running with just the y pipe open and plan on finishing the whole exhaust setup tomorrow. Took me long enough to get those things on...it better be worth it

I couldn't believe how much louder the pacesetters are open than the stock manifolds open.

i drove my car around open headers with the stock manifolds and it was loud. now i drove it around with the pacesetters and man what a differnce..its like anything that could rattle did rattle in my car. I might want to check under my car to see if my underbody lights are still in one piece

I have a quick question to those who installed their headers...after installing the headers and putting on the y pipe, did the y pipe end bend down towards the ground? becuz right now its angled down and wont fit to my high flow cat. So im going to go and fix this tomorrow and all...but i was wondering if anybody had this happen to them

Yeah...but you can move it up by loosening the flanges and pushing it up.

anyone have a pic of the pacesetters next to the stock manifold?

I'm curious how much longer the pacesetters are, if any.

The reason, is because I have a custom y pipe for my turbo, and I'd like to know how much/if any modification would be needed to my custom y pipe to put some pacesetters on-- also, what kind of flanges do the pacesetters use, the same like the stock ones?

someone chime in

Yep....don't know exactly but they are the same connection as the stock manifolds....ball and joint flange.

so could you use the stock y pipe flanges? if it was the right length of pipe.. obviously.

because if anything I could shorten the top of the y pipe for the new headers.

I just don't want to deal with putting new flanges on..pain in the *** .

here's a pic for reference...
these mate right up to the stock pre2000 manifolds it was a ***** to make

i just fixed the y pipe hanging and it is now connected with my high flow cat and everything is back together...Having started it yet becuz i used quicksteel around the y pipe connecting and im giving that time to harden. but i have one last thing, the o2 sim on the passenger side header..how in the h*ll did you get the sensor plugged back in..there is no way i can reach my hands in there to hold the sensor against the firewall and push the other sensor connection into it
