  • Air tube required??

    quick question..do the cats on a 98 3.8 Camaro require an air tube??..thanks!

        I think I know the answer...sort of.

        Autos do not come with air tube. (A4 tranny cars do not require air tube)

        Some m5 cars require air tube. Not sure on the years.

          i think mine has one (98 A4) but its capped off..so im assuming i can get one that doesnt have one at all..thanks! [img]smile.gif[/img]

            I know a few people on here bought the CATCO 6007

            3" i/o which does have the air tube.

                3.8s don't have it, but using a cat that supports it is fine. I use the Catco CTO-6007 with no problems, and I know others here use it as well.

                  All of the ones that we sell that come with the AIR tube have the tube capped when you get it so it's your option if you want to remove it or not.
