what is the diffrence between mandrel bent and the other kinds of bends??? i always wanted to know. thx and i hope you guys dont try to make me feel stupid. some people just dont know this ****

say you have a 3" pipe and you take it to the exhaust shop to have it bent, well at the bend it wont be as round it will be crimped in some. well a mandrel bend on a 3" pipe would be 3" the whole way through including at the bend. mandrel bend just makes the pipe not crimped in. hope i explained it good enoughLongtubes, true duals, ram air, caspers tps tec, ls1 26lb injectors, supersix powerpack, heads milled .020, comp cam .507 220/224 114 ls, forged internals and chromeoly pushrods, bored .030 over, tb spacer, tranny built with stiffer springs and kevlar bands, bigger servo, transgo stage 3 shift kit, edge 3600 stall, 1 pc aluminum ds, 3.73 superior gears, lsd rear ,custom pcm tuning, walbro 255 in tank, -
yea i got you when you get machine shop bends it has like lil folds in the bend that restricts air flow thx alot i jsut had to get that clarified now to find a shop to do mandrel bends for me. already got my muffler and cat [img]smile.gif[/img]Comment
