arm and leg for install

i went to some shops today to install my muffler and cat and they were trying to charge me like 375 for 3 inch custom pipeing and full install i called like 3 places all giving me around 240-280 dollars and the last place i went to is gonna charge me 170. why is it soo much?

Exhaust is pretty easy to do yourself. Me and a friend did mine and it came out fine; just have to have some tools for cutting off the old exhaust and we had to persuade the i-pipe to fit into the overaxle but it turned out good.

Try getting a Z28 I-pipe and a 3" mandrel bent s-pipe. don't know what you will do for the tail pipes but I'm sure you can get them somewhere.
