My friend and I are having a debate on whether 3" is overkill for a power adder. I know that its probably overkill for N/A purposes, but he's saying that 2.5" is best, even for forced induction. I thought if you were going nitrous or more specifically forced induction, 3" is better. Does someone care to help me settle this argument. He also keeps comparing our motor to the GN, saying well they only put 2.5" on the GN, so why should you need more than that.

Well, with full 2.5 inch my best times were 12.4 spinning and consistent high 12's low 13's
With full 3 inch mandrel bent I have spun EVEN more but gone consistent mid to high 12's
I have NOT gone into the 13's w/ the 3 inch.
I will have et streets shortly so I'll start hooking Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
