I need help? I just bought a Whisper Lid from Thunder Racing and the Whisper lid instructions say to put the air sensor in the grommet provided which is in part of the Whisper Lid. But right now my sensor is in the hose connecting to the throttle body and it says to reuse that hose. How is all that supposed to work when I reuse the hose that has a hole from the air sensor. Am I supposed to buy another hose? Or am I supposed to fit the sensor through the hose and into the rubber grommet? The directions don't match up and I know I bought the right model/year. Please anybody with info reply.
Thanks,
Chris

I thought that the whisper lids came with the hose. Oh, well. I bougth 4inch air intake house from advanced auto parts. Cost around 11 bucks. Some people get dryer duct hose for lowe's. If that dryer duct hose is metal, I would think that it would get a little warm, forfeiting some of the benefits of cooler air.
