I tried this weekend to port and polish my TB. I followed directions with one exception. I took the Throttle Positioning Sensor off the throttle body. I ported and polished the TB and then when I put everything back together I got an SES light. The car seems to run fine with one exception, it seems sluggish during acceleration.I reset the computer and started and ran the car again, same thing. This morning when I started the car, the ses shut off but then during an acceleration from a light it came back on again. I'm thinking I put the TPS back on wrong. IF you guys think it could be something else let me know.

Not sure how the TPS is wired, but it probably only installs one way. Drive the car a little more, let the computer 'learn' to adjust, & if that doesn't help, you need to test the TPS to see if it's bad or not. Also, if you ported too much, you may also have problems.

I took mine off too. Seems like there is a spring in there, similar to a mainspring in a clock. When you put the tps back on, the hook on the end of the spring should engage the t-bar on the end of the throttle shaft. The spring should already be under a little tension when you bolt the tps back down.
Line up the spring first, the bolt holes won't be lined up. Then rotate the tps to the bolt holes, keeping the spring hooked.
The first time I took my TB off coolant ran everywhere, and a bunch got in the TPS sensor. I let it dry out for a few hours and it never gave me any problems but now I'm thinkin I should have it checked out just to be sure... :(
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
