  • slanted vs straight throttle body intake???

how hard would it be to swap the slanted TB in my 98 with a straight one from a later year? is the intake different, or just the TB? the reason is, i'm installing a turbo, and it would be easier with a straight TB, but i don't know if it's worth the extra work... thanks

Pain in the bootie! I researched this a while back. The TB is straight, it's the flange on the intake that is angled. You would need to swap to a 99 intake. Problem there is the 98 TB won't bolt to it so then you have to change to a 99 TB and then swap your computer and try to install the fly-by-wire setup. Not worth all the trouble IMHO.
