• Stupid Question

If everyone is removing their cat's, then why not go to the extra trouble, gut it, and place the shell over the I-pipe? That way, upon initial inspection it looks normal...

I saw a website somewhere that had instructions on how to 'hollow out your cat'. It was a while back, but it pretty much was just these instructions

1. take off the cat
2. take the cat apart
3. replace internals with a straight pipe or something allowing free flow (3" pipe)
4. weld cat back together
5. put it back on car.

you might get a SES light, but it's the 02 sensor (i think).
correct me if i'm wrong guys
