I'm getting a flowmaster on friday and was quoted around 250 for a price. Now those of you whom had mufflers installed (flows/dynomax - should be around the same price) what else did you get with your install that I should be asking for?
2.5 in. I-pipe?
Can places that do mufflers even fabricate something like that?
25 sounds good if its the whole thing... maybe you should ask for beefed up hangers.. first I had the stoc ones and it seemed to move a bit and stuff... once i got the heavy duty ones on.. it was nice and sturdy
I paid $80 for muffler and $50 for install. They made some 2 1/2 inch turndown tips and painted them black so they would blend in under the car (maybe that is why I paid more). $25 is good price.

Make sure it's the correct muffler for your car. Either you didn't type the price correct or you're getting one he!! of a deal. When I purchased my old flowmaster the guy gave me a 82'-92' Camaro muffler. I didn't know anything back then, I didn't have a computer and I had never looked into buying a muffler. I simply just wanted a flowmaster. The muffler I got was good but it was very loud after I opened the exhaust up with headers and a 3 inch I pipe. I lost back pressure and power with it. So my advice is to get a part number and make sure the person your buying the muffler from is giving you the correct part.
