• My friend said my car sounds like rice!!!!!

I have a magnaflow and yeah it sounds like rice when its at WOT but today while leaving my friends house, all i did was start it up and he said its like rice. He heard it before and never said anything... and when i had the rumbler on, he liked it and said it sounded like this nova he had but it was louder. LOL

Ummm I am pissed now... it does get ricey up in the higher rpms tho- but sorta sounds like a plane.

I wanted to put the rumbler resonator that is in the i pipe on and put the magnaflow on but it didnt want to slide over the other piece. That would make it less ricey, right?

              **** a flowmaster. **** a borla. **** a loudmouth. **** a dynomax super turbo..

Go custom.. Like me.. 3" stainless steel "dynomouth" ;)

Loudmouth pipes w/ dynomax race bullet inplace of stock SLP resonator.. Loud and deep as hell

I am happy with my magnaflow..

all v6 exhausts sound like crap IMHO.. i have heard them all at this point..

I acctuayl switched back to the bagnaflow after trying the flowmaster..

                why?

becuase its quiet if you are jsut crusing around.. and has an acceptable WOT tone..

to be perfectly honest.. i love the way my car sounds with the cutout open.. its acctualy pretty bad ***.. but it has ALOT of volume.. way to loud for the street and daily driving..

so.. basicly i jsut cap it up most of the week... and undo the 3 wingnuts when i want to have some fun..

                its good..

I shoulda kept the rumbler on but it was just too loud for me. Oh well. I am not ready to change mufflers yet cause this setup is fairly new. I thought it sounded nice at idle. Damn him!!!

Did you not read? She had the Rumbler before, it is basically a Loudmouth with a bullet muffler instead of their crappy resonator, and also it has alot better fitment.

Also called the Dynomouth by many, such as KBeezy.

I still have the Rumbler in the garage... I wanted to use the I pipe with the Rumbler muffler on it in addition to the Magnaflow but it didnt slide in the one end. Maybe that will be a new project? I want to change the magnaflow tips to the smoked Rumbler tips I got... I love those. That is the next thing I am going to do.

borla owns you all. actually, the B&B triflo sounds sweet also, i heard a v6 with it the other day.

and for all of you who are like "yea, i got (insert exhaust here) and it is loud and nice)", give me a break. v6's werent meant to be loud. the sound like crap. you cant do anything 'inexpensive' to make is sound good.

my car sounds like an exotic car with the borla, not a muscle car. its not ricy, but its not muscle. its just 'there'. i like it, and its the best i think you could prolly get for the v6 fbody.

SLP two-on-the-left is still the best flowing, best sounding exhaust for my dollar.
