Seriously! Too many choices and decisions. I've done searches, research, and I'm still stumped! I want something good, but can't find anything! I know some of you guys have done a custom setup, I would to know how you did it please.
Help me please! Grrrrr.... :(
Something good huh... how about roast beef and cheddar?
Err wait, exhaust. Well... you could go find a local exhaust shop and see what they say. You should have a general idea in your head before that, though. 3" seems to be pretty popular, why not pick up a 3" cat and I-pipe, then decide on muffler and tips from there?

Take a deep breath :D YOu're already ahead of the game with the Y87 package and gearing, personally I find the thought of gear changing, reprogramming more daunting than a catback.
As far as custom: a few guys have two I pipes from summitracing, (do a searchfor the model numbers ), either 2 1/2" or 3" seem to be popular choice. Some also say that a shop should be able to make/order those for you.
YOu could go with a 2 3/4" z28 piping also.
As far as catbacks: Most popular catbacks, as you know, will have their pluses and minus. B&B sounds good down low, but closer to stock up high.
My best advice would be to find a shop that does quality work. If you can find other people near you on this board, they might be your best bet for finding a good shop.
Thank you very much for your quick replies!
Yes, I do know all cat-backs have their pros/cons.
I am planning on doing a 3" setup, since I am in this mainly for sound. I'm flipping through the Jeg's Catalog right now, And the Stainless Steel Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow looks pretty good! I also know about Summit, and other types of mufflers.
Oh well, I guess I can't make this decision overnight. Thank you!
