  • Magnaflow OBD-II catalytic converter question

i’m located in california and i have to replace my catalytic converter cause it’s almost on the verge of broken. i was just wondering if anyone here has a magnaflow catalytic converter and if you guys do, what model of the carsound / magnaflow catalytic converter do you guys have? i got quoted 100 for a 94019 carsound catalytic converter with install and for the 43000 series for carsound ... about 350. i need an OBD-II to pass smog also.

My second question is ... if I got the 94000 series magnaflow catalytic converter, would the check engine light turn on since i have a OBD-II on right now? i know there are simulators out there, but i just want to make it as stress free / easy as possible.

here are some links to the catalytic converters i was talking about
