I am getting my CAI installed very soon and I was just wondering what you guys have noticed as far as performance goes. I'm sure it will make my car have better passing power, and pull harder, but I would like to know from people what they have experienced right after the installation of theirs. Thanks guys!

well, i have a 3rd gen v6 but...same deal pretty much.
anyways...i think it helped a little at low end, but at top end is where you reallly feel it. just take it out on the highway afterwards and you'll be amazed at the difference.

i seemed to have lost some end power after installing the Flowmaster muffler. Probably because off less backpressure. Will this make up for it?

You wouldn't lose low end power from a flowmaster muffler... backpressure would hardly be changed at all. Its the pipe size that is going to change your backpressure. And even then i have my doubts about it. Anyway,

as far as the intake... biggest thing i noticed was a much better throttle response at all speeds. Good mod.

hmmmmm...my car definitely didn't accelerate as quickly on the low end once my muffler was installed.

My 60' and 1/4 times hasn't changed since I switch back to the flowmaster.
