  • Installed O2 sim, and i am still gettting error code.. WTF?

OK, so a while back I started getting the catalist low effiency code.. I kept deleting it for a while.. and this weekend i got around to installing an o2 sim...

everyting was cool for a day or two.. then!

the code came back (I have not scanned it yet but its probably it).. WTF is up with that??

I thought with an O2 sim its impossible to set off that code??

that leads me to think its a problem in the wireing?? anyone else ever run into this problem?
where did the problem turn out to be?

Also, what should I look at w/auto tap, if anything??

thanks for any insight on this one.. i am quite perplexed..

Some people get low sensor voltage from the o2 sims. I would get it scanned just to see.

Depending on year you'll have one in each manifold and one after the cat, OR one in each manifold, one before the cat and one after the cat. You will install the O2 sim after the cat.

I tought that the O2 sensors for the cat and front header were different like the plugs were male and the cat had a female plug in?
