It looks like I have a bad cat. Right now I have the stock cat and stock pipes leading into a Dynomax Superturbo 2.5". I also have a Catco 3" sitting in my room waiting to be installed. If I install the Catco will I need to get a simulator to save on having a bung installed (I don't want to throw any codes). Just exactly what's involved with installing a sim?

The stock cat is welded on. Installing an O2 sim takes less than 5 minutes. Another option (read illegal option) is to gut your stock cat and put the O2 sim on. I believe you can unbolt the rear of the cat and get to it from there.98 Bright Red Camaro
Too many mods to list....check my website

I just read in another post that there are different simulators one with 3 wires and one with 4 wires. How do I know which is the correct sim for a 98 3.8?1998 Camaro M5, Sports Appearance Package, K&N,CAI,Whisper Lid, Dynomax Superturbo exhaust,Carsound Converter.
http://members.cardomain.com/canadiancamaro
