Hey, I've got the Flow Master 80 on my V6 3.8. I love the sound at engine start up and idle. However, I am not in love with full throttle above 3000k. Right now, I've got the stock tips on it. They are the oval ones found on Grand Prix's and some TA's. Are there any tips out there that provide a lower rumble to kill some of the rasp heard under hard acceleration? If a fart can can change the sound of exhaust, why cant tips? Aren't they close to the same thing? TY.

See are v6's don't push enough air out like the V8's do, and that's why they sound a little funny when you floor it. Check around first but I think these will help a little bit but we have to remember we only have a v6.

you mean the center exit?...thats by SLP, and if you dont want to buy resonated tips or dont like the way any of them look, you can buy a resonator that just goes in between your cat and muffler...kinda like the Grand Prix is set up...this will take away some of the loud rumble you like but will smooth out the nasty rasp in the high end ;)
