i am buying a new exhaust and it starts at a 3" pipe to the muffler and back to dual outs.. but what i want to know is.. how can i get this to mount to my cat when its only putting out a 2.5" out, do i need a converter of a sort? plz help.
-or can a buy a highflow cat that is 2.5 in and 3 out?
-or am i worng here? is the 95 3.4L have 3" already. plz help me with my rookie problems. thx
the stock cats i think are 3" in/2.25" out, at least for my car it was, and I have a 2001. the exhaust shop just welded the 3" pipe around the outside of the 2.25" outlet on my stock cat. and re-attached all the emissions stuff. I'm sure they can make any cat w/ up to 3" outlet fit on a 3" exhaust.
