Is this anything like the ones I see on rksport and other websites or is this some cheap knockoff. As you can tell I don't know much about this stuff so sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks alot guys!!
For $80, he's sending you a metal sleeve worth about $4, K&N filter worth $10, and band clamps worth $2. I guess the left over $64 is for his exclusive instructions.
The sleeve can be bought at Home Depot, K&N filter and band clamps are availible at most auto stores.

Well, it's not a K&N, but here goes anyway; http://search.ebay.com/air-filter-3_...omZR10QQsotrZ2
I've see a 3" K&N filter on sale in the clearence bin for $10-$15 at my local Strauss Auto. That was about a year ago though, so maybe it was a defect or something...?
\'99 SSM Camaro V6 M5<br />(mod list on cardomain site; too long to list here)<br /> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/v6cam99\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/id/v6cam99</a>
What is the difference between the cheap ebay intake and the k&n or Slp intake. I am new to this. If you were to buy one of those intakes off of ebay would it give you any gains or would you be better off buying a K&N panel filter??? Thanks
If you look at their intake, it doesn't replace the entire stock intake. The SLP CAI connects directly to the throttle body. The shotty ebay one hooks up to the MOST restrictive part of the stock intake. Basically, your buying a bigger pipe but it still goes down to about .4" wide before it gets to your car. Waist of money.
Which is better the Cheap ebay intake or the replacement K&N panel filter. I ask because they are both the same price and I don't have $180-200 dollars to buy the slp or k&N cold air intake.
