  • CAI, Borla, inspection and emisions here in Pa.

I'm about to make an appointment for my inspection here in Pa. I just wanted to know would my Cai, and borla running wide open with no plates cause me to fail the inspection and/or emissions?

the CAI is fine, and as long as the exhaust is going through the muffler, (all the exhausst) it shouldnt be a problem

That's what i'm worrying about. I running the exhaust with no plates at all, so i'm guessing that not all the fumes are going thru the muffler.

The "tester" works like this..regardless if you have a leak or not it is the same rating. it is like your DNA from your genes. to test it they don't need a liter of blood...just enough to hit the senser...they don't test the volume of Fumes as a whole, it test how much stuff is in the mixture. so regardless if you have a leak it will be the same.
