Quick Exhaust Question

I have the 80 series flowmaster exhaust.(muffler only). Whenever I rev the engine, it sounds pretty good as the rpm's go up, but as it settles down.. I start get this kinda back-firing popping sound. Whe the H*** is that..

I've had the flowmasters since October of 2001. It did the popping even before I had the flowmasters. So now can you tell me what you think it is???

It's normal, don't worry about it. I have Flowmaster and it does the same thing. Keep letting it burn and you'll love it more.

that's called the V6 sound. Get used to it. If you don't want that sound get another car or buy the Z28/SS. ;)

After I put on my whisper lid and got some resonating exhaust tips, my flowmaster doesn't do that anymore. I think I read somewhere that it makes that ricey sound cuz the car isnt getting enough airflow, like its being suffocated...
