Worth It?

Found a cold air intake for 85 dollars; are the benefits of this mod worth the cash?

is it an SLP intake? if it is, then its worth the cash. If its something someone built out of home depot parts for $5, then no.

In conjuction w/ exhaust SLP intakes have consistently take .2 off the 1/4 on many cars here. If this is a viable design it should be well worth it.

It is the underhood cold air intake device that fits behind the radiator beneath the air filter.

It's made by the Whisper corporation. I am just curious, I just had a flowmaster installed and hope that in conjunction with it, that I'd see some differences in throttle response throughout the powerband.

IMHO, just do the Free Ram Air mod with a Whisper Lid. I don't think the CAI really helps that much if you already have the above 2 mods.
