I got an edelbrock catback put on a while back and it didn't seem to make much of a difference except for the sound. But I still have the stock cat on there. Should I have got a new cat to go with the exhaust and if I do it now will it help a lot with performance or improve sound at least? Thanks.

What size cat-back is your Edelbrock exhaust? I'm not sure what they have available and i'm too lazy to look it up.

    i'm assuming 3".?
If its 3" then a new 3" high flow cat would make the sound better (deeper). The performance gains won't be anything real noticable most likely, but it should help. I got mine put on w/ my cat-back so it was cheaper... glad i did it.
