  • Replaced stock cat-back piping with 2.5"

I just got this done today. Performance seems to be good, and throughout the day it gradually sounded deeper and louder :D I would definitely recommend 2.5" piping for anyone thinking about doing this. I'll try to get sound clips posted soon. The cutout is now right before the muffler. It sounds really nice until it hits a certain rpm, then it pops for a second and stops. WTF? I'm thinking something is blocking the airflow and making that noise, but I don't know. Any advice?

the pop is most likely because you have to much flow

What high flow cat did ya get dude? Please we need sound clips. I would love to hear your car with the cutout open nad closed. Also how much of a difference in sound and in quality of sound from the stock cat? I want to put a catco on my car but i am afrad on what it will sound like.

No actually I think my cutout is too small: airflow gets restricted right at the end. I'm gonna go with a bigger cutout and hear that.
