SES and 00+ cars... is controversy solved

whats the verdict on the SES and o2 sims on the newer 3.8's

tired of the SES light on in my car and i have a 3 in and 3 out Catco

i know there was a debate back in the day, anyone have a 3 in/out that doesnt throw a code. my catco didnt throw one for almost a year

I'm doing my 3" exhaust tomorrow it consists of Borla and carsound cat I have a feeling that ses will come on.

When I put my 3" Carsound On, I never got a code. But when I hollowed out my old converter and put that on, I got the light.

So, you shouldn't get the light with the 3" Converter.

ROFL.. yeah.. I still have an SES light on also..

for about the last 2 years.. the 02 sims jsut dont work..

it pisses me off.. i am up for emmiasions soon.. so.. either I will work something out with caspers electronics.. or i will get a new cat.. and run it for a week or two.. then gut that mofo..

otherwise it will just burn up like the others..

Before i put my 3-inch ORP I hollwed my cat and got an 02 sim. Never had the light. still don't...

Yeah, please let us know what type of sim you have. I still have an SES light. the O2 sim from Casper does not work. I've had that damn SES light on for who knows how long. I'm use to it, but when people ride with me, they ask me why my SES light is on, and I have to tell them the reason. [img]graemlins/slap.gif[/img] I'm thinking about just writing the reason down on paper :D and every time someone ask me about the SES light, just had them the paper and tell them to read. [img]graemlins/popcorn.gif[/img] :D

i have a simm and it doesn't work either, it'll work for a little while but then the ses comes back, i would also like to have this fukin problem fixed as well...
