Is this my car telling me to replace my catalytic converter? My car will not rev to 5 grand anymore when I floor it driving at above 40mph. I JUST got the transmission rebuilt with brand new everything, so I am willing to bet this might be the catalytic converter... any ideas? I drive an automatic by the way.

Well I just took my cat off due to the same problem of it not reving to 5k while driving.
