I'm sick of my flowmaster 80s and want to upgrade. I want a very loud but not ricey exhaust. The ultra flo has better flow, I guess that is why it is called ultra, anyway, would that still have that ricey sound because of the air flow? I might have to get a Z28 to get the sound I want, oh well, any info would be great, thanks.

In my opinion the loudmouth is too loud! Unless you like running your car with a cut out open all the time I would not recomend this setup. I recently traded my loudmouth for a ws6 exhaust. I drove my car around with only a cat for two days. The sound was the same as the loudmouth except that it was exiting under the car instead of behind it. If you want loud up grade to 2.75 or 3" piping with a freer muffler and just get a cut out. Believe me on long trips down the interstate you will be thankful for this.96 Camaro RS A4 T-tops
Loudmouth
and other audio mods

Well, flowmaster is loud but it has the ricey tone to it, a kind of hum and I'm worried that if I get another loud muffler I will run into the same problem.
I have also heard that the super turbo is not as loud, but it sounds better than the flowmaster throughout the rpm range.
However the super turbo is 410 cfm and the ultra flo is 1133 cfm. So the performance is better, but by how much? Is it worth getting better performance over better sound?1996 3.8L V6 Camaro A4 Y87
Flowmaster 80 Series
LPE Cold Air Induction
LPE 1 Piece Aluminum Driveshaft
BMR Torque Arm
Window Tint 5%/5% Sides/Back
http://members.cardomain.com/adinsx

Some have talked about Edelbrock system.
My muffler is a mellowed out muffler but it still has that higher pitched hum to it so I'm looking into getting a dynomax catback. But dyno is supposedly much quieter than edel.1998 3.8 Camaro A4,
B&B Triflow CatBack,Whisper Lid,
1987 s10 Blazer 350 V8 shift kit,

Do they make a dynomax catback or Edelbrock for my 3.8 '98 system? I haven't seen any.
And the ONLY reason I'm asking is because I thought they didn't make a Magnaflow for my year car/engine, and yet the other day I happened upon one on a website for LS1. (heard too many bad things about magnaflow though)1998 3.8 Camaro A4,
B&B Triflow CatBack,Whisper Lid,
1987 s10 Blazer 350 V8 shift kit,
