After I installed the Whisper Lid on my 2001 V6 Camaro, I noticed my engine temp reading is slightly lower than before(before, it hit dead center at midpoint, but now it is slightly lower. Is there a reason for this? Also, I don't know if it's just me, but it seems I lose a little gas mileage from the mod. Anybody have any info or testimony on this? Thanks.

Yes, I know \"Artic\" should be spelled \"Arctic\". Can any of the mods change this? -
Well, I know my engine temp is still exactly the same after this mod...maybe something else is causing it? Well, I did damage a little plastic piece off of the IAT sensor, but did not damage the sensor it self. Any other ideas?Yes, I know \"Artic\" should be spelled \"Arctic\". Can any of the mods change this?Comment

My temp stayed the same, but I picked up about 3 MPG.
