After I installed the Whisper Lid on my 2001 V6 Camaro, I noticed my engine temp reading is slightly lower than before(before, it hit dead center at midpoint, but now it is slightly lower. Is there a reason for this? Also, I don't know if it's just me, but it seems I lose a little gas mileage from the mod. Anybody have any info or testimony on this? Thanks.

My temp stayed the same, but I picked up about 3 MPG. In the combination driving I do I was getting around 22 MPG, my last 2 tanks have been 25....Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: \"WOW!!!!, what a ride!\"
