What exactly is the difference between the two? I know ram air is more expensive but does it have the same effects/gains as a cold air intake?

you can get more air to your engine by going RAM air. Just look at the setups of the two. If you are looking for most power get the RAM Air, and get the Raptor Hood like they said.

You won't see 15Hp, but you might see 10hp from the air kit and maybe 2 more from the removed weight of the stock hood. That fiberglass will lighten your front end up!
