I got off the phone with them today, after Jones brought it to my attention that I needed to call them. They said they barely got this stuff about a month ago, I have a part # and OE # or some sh*t in the mail to me right now. Basically, when I get my car smogged, I show them these papers and it makes it 100% smog legal as long as I pass emissions of course.
So now everybody knows!
BTW, this is for Pacesetter
Now we Californians have something to be happy about (damn smog!!!)

If it is an aftermarket part, it needs to have a CARB number in order to be legal in CA
Uhhhh ok, thanks for the info great gazoo.
I think that's what Bats was saying in first couple of posts.

Alright! how do i go about getting these numbers and stuff, i've been trying to find someone to install them for me but they wont because they say there not legal... and how do they know that the papers your showing them are for these particular header?
Maybe its just me, and the smog guy is a dumbass but everytime I get my car smogged. The visual test takes about 15 seconds. I doubt the guy is going to notice the difference between stock manifolds and headers on a v6 fbody, expecially if you replace the heat sheilds.
As long as i will still pass the sniffer, you should be good.

If you don't have a tag welded on to one of the primary tubes on the driver side then you have to call them and they will mail you the right information to show to the smog/auto shop to install.
Why don't you install them yourself? They're not too bad if you have the right header bolts haha
