it's a bigger lid that sits on top of your airbox... it's less restrictive, they go for about $100, get it at any place w/ fbody shop.. you might be able to pick up a used one for $70 or so.

This is a quick and cheap starter until you get a real Whisper Lid.

hell yeah it worth it, first off, with the whisper lid, it connects straight to your throttle body, instead of that drum where the air goes in, circles around and finally makes it to the throttle body. worth the money and plus some,

That's a good deal on one.

SSWannabe is right, it takes off your air silencer.

I have the Whipser lid and the SLP CAI with a ram air hood. I have seen an addtl 5-10 hp with all mods added. Also get a K&N filter with your whipster lid.
check my car domain site for pics of the whipser lid, and CAI

It works really well with the ZZP throttle body spacer too. I installed the TB spacer and whisper lid, then cleaned my k & n filter at the same time. My gas mileage went up about 30 miles per tank!

....it went up to about 30 miles per tank? Or are you saying it went up an additional 30? Either way its pretty good.

I think he meant 2 more miles per gallon. Our cars are 15.5 gallons: (2 miles per gallon)x(about 15 gallons) = 30 miles per tank. So my guess would be he means 2-3 more miles per gallon.
