First off that looks like a supercharger and not a turbo like he says  . If you do a search in forced induction you will see where everybody says don't get one, but I have never seen anybody actually try it.

I would like to see someone on this board actually try one of these before saying not to get it. As you said andrew.brandon no one has actually tried it.
2001 Black Camaro

I have no clue how i beat you.....maybe your car is slow.

Whisper lid, SSRA, Pacesetter Headers, Carsound 3\" Cat, SLP Loudmouth, BMR strut brace, black ZR-1 rims, Xenon kit
These things are horrible... everyone i've seen that has tried them has been laughed at. There's no way it could sustain enough vacuum to be of any use. I would think it would just drain power more than anything..but..i've never tried one ;)

I have pretty much the same thing running on my 3.8, and my wifes 2.4 Z24. I made them my self from pvc though. I only use to help get back some of the air my blackouts took away though. I have not had it on a dyno yet, but I seem to notice better gas mileage, and a little quicker response around 3500 rpm, just don't expect it to do what a turbo, or a supercharger will. I actually saw a guy at a show who had rigged a leafblower to his, and that is where I got the idea.
I'd love to see someone try it, just for the hell of it man. Dude can't spell @ all, talk about remedial....Someone try it and post results, I won't we the sacrificial lamb though ;)

there ARE electric superchargers that work, i know that much. but that one does NOT. the ones that do work are like over 2grand, and still not effecient enough to warrant buying.
