I never had any problem out of it when I had my camaro. I miss the sound so much. I miss the whole car, except in the snow. One of these days I'll get some form of exhaust put on my car.

I have had mine for about 4 months now and I LOOOOVE IT except for the high end noise...it sound sooooOOOOO BEASTLY at idle and if u give it a little gas its like GRWAahghaghleglegllalge... but towards the higher end rpms it goes grrrrraaaerarAARRraARRRRGGWOOWAAAAOO-PAP-pAP-PaP-PaPPAPAPAPAPAPAP-owwmrmrmmrmrmmgrrleglelgle.....and it backfires like crazy...its awesome but i might get that bullet muffler/resonater from dynomax? to help with the "weedwacker sound" ill post a sound clip some day.

The cop just said he thought it was too loud based on his hearing, and he gave me a defective equipment slip stating to get the sound level checked at the dmv. I didn't go yet. Can someone please tell me how that dynomax muffler sounds on this system?

Well, I took my car to the dmv for inspection today and the guy said it was too loud. The system has mellowed out quite a bit and is no where near as bad as it was before. Of course it's going to sound loud when I rev it in neutral like he had me do, but it's not that loud when I moving. For now I'm going to rush a flowmaster hushpower over before next monday, which is the deadline. But I still have a dynomax bullet in the garage for later. ;)

if you want loud, just slap a quieter flowmaster or dynomax on there and get a cutout. when you want to rattle the windows uncap the cutout.

i run a flowmaster for everyday driving, and its nice and noisy, but not loud enough that i will ever be bothered by the cops. now on the other hand, driving with the cutout uncapped is ungodly loud (even with it being mounted after the cat)
