• Exhaust Question ?

I was wondering which exhaust system (the 2.5´´ or the 3´´) will add more or better muscular sound to my car? , and high performance aswell

Any response allowed

Thank you

Welcome to the board

I think your best bet will be a 3"

Half the people would go with 3", the other half will say 2.75" is better. Are you planning on running Nitrous or Forced Induction? If you are, definetly get the 3". IMHO, I would go 3" even if NA.

Thanks Guys for your advice but i would like to know more about the muscular sound, cause
you know an old saying:

"IF IT LOOKS FAST IT HAS TO BE FAST"
In my opinion the SOUND helps turning heads :D
U know what i mean.

Thanks both oF u

They both will sound better than stock. The 3" may sound a little better up high, but it depends on the muffler.

My exhaust:
Cutout Closed
Cutout Open: In Sig.

Sounds like you want it loud, in that case, go for the SLP Loudmouth. Its quite good at turning heads.

it might be loud, but it doesnt sound that hot on a v6. my flowmaster is really loud, and it doesnt sound too bad. dynomax isnt quite as loud...

also, i say dont get 3" or 2.5"
comprimise and get 2.75

From one of my more knowledgeable friends (one of the fastest v6 fbods EVER) says the following...

2.5" if you'll definately be running NA
3.0" if you'll definately be running N20/SC/Turbo

I did 2.75" because I wasn't sure.
