my dad just recently bought a 2000 firebird, and he wants to put flowmaster on it, and it's a 3.8 v6! i've heard the v8's with flows, and they sound bad ***, but will it sound real bad, like the v6 mustangs with flows, cause they sound horrible! he really wants the deep rumble, kinda like a mustang gt!

It will sound great at idle and for normal driving but once you get on the gas you will get a little rasp int the upper rpm range. It will never sound like an 8. No matter what you put on it, it will always sound like a V6. Headers and True Duals with an H-Pipe will make it sound much better than any aftermarket system.IMO I'll know for sure once I get my headers installed though.. ;)2000 Firebird.
