  • Pacesetter Header size for 3.8?????

ok im putting on a take off 2z8 cat back system and i think im going to go with pacesetter headers so what size headers would sound the best/loudest/deepest? also on the performancecenter.com site does the $215 include the pair of headers and Y pipe because thats what shown in the picture but i dont think it says anything about a Y pipe? thanks

theres only one size, the $215 sounds like the painted black ones, come with y-pipe gaskets and bolts.

      The y-pipe has no gaskets.

hey man just opinion, id go with the ceramic coated pacesetter headers for just 100 bux more. i bought the painted ones thinking that you really wouldnt be able to see them but you can everytime you open the hood and i regret not getting the coated. so if you have the money id go with the coated...... just an opinion. and that ammperformance.com looks like about the cheapest ive seen them. have fun and i hope this inlightens you a bit... later

AMM Performance has better prices than what you have quoted. Go there and you should be able to get whichever type of header you want.

do the regular black steel headers rust, or is it worth getting the ceramic ones?

I've heard that its worth the 100 bucks.
                        I got the coated ones.
First of all I know its supposed to keep heat in better...
Second I know it looks sweet as hell when you pop the hood and see em shining in all their glory
But I'm not sure about non-coated ones rusting.
I did hear about the non-coated ones wearing out or something...not sure if it was due to rust.
